“Nurse Manager of Blood Cancer Unit RN

Job Summary and Qualifications

You will be responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals.
You will identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers related to our service to the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell population.
You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
You will identify and remedy through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
You will work with Senior Management in meeting the goals of the facility and the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Units.
What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE in Blood Cancer Unit
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
